Final Chapter of High Tide and New Story Update!

Edit: Adjusted the names of tiers slightly after discussing with Jordan Redstark. Top tier is now Dragonlord and second top tier is Dragonguard.

Hello guys! Once again thanks for all of your support! I just wanted to keep you posted on some important things. So first things first, Chapter 75, the final chapter and epilogue of High Tide, will be a little delayed. Yeah I know it's an exciting time but I genuinely don't have time to write it atm.

I was on a trip on Monday and only came back yesterday. Today I was busy, tmrw looking to be busy as well, and Saturday to next Monday I will be on another trip. So barring any writing I cram in tmrw night and next Monday night, I will only be able to really start writing 75 starting next Tuesday, so ETA for Chapter 75 will be Tuesday the 9th of July to Sunday the 14th. Depending on how free I am and how easy it is to write, you could likely expect it much earlier than that, Tuesday to Thursday around there, and High Tide will finally be done! It's a bittersweet feeling indeed, great to finish it and reach the end of the journey but bittersweet to see it go.

With everything all decided, this is what will be happening going forward. As soon as High Tide is finished here on Patreon, I will immediately get started working on the new story, which will be titled 'Divide and Conquer (Aegon SI)'. Depending on how free I am and how easy it is to write and plan Divide and Conquer's first chapter, it can be posted here on Patreon anywhere from Saturday the 13th of July to Saturday the 20th of July.

This chapter will be available for that time only to the highest tier of the Patrons (what is at the moment the Tide Guard). The update schedule for a while after that will be very flexible because of two factors,
1) I'm trying to write seven chapters as fast as possible in order to create the double benefits I promised
2) I will need to outline and format the chapters for Divide and Conquer the way I did High Tide and that process may take some time out of writing the actual chapters but is essential for the story and is a major reason why High Tide maintained such a consistent pace and continuity.

So per the new Pricing and Benefits system that you all voted on, the Tide Guard will get two chapters of Divide and Conquer once High Tide is finished, after which the Velaryon Knights will get Chapter 1 and then Chapter 2 while Tide Guard gets Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, and then the same will happen with the Driftmark Marines once Chapter 5 and 6 go to the TG, 3 and 4 to the VK, and then 1 and 2 to the DM, and so forth.

The week that High Tide Chapter 75 is posted on the public threads, I will also be posting Chapter 1 of Divide and Conquer on the public threads in order to build hype, discussion, and attention for the story and also draw in new patrons. However the public thread will not get Chapter 2 until Chapter 7 comes to the Tide Guard here on Patreon.

Once High Tide ends and the first chapter of D&C is posted on the public threads, I will also officially change the Patreon tiers, names, descriptions, and pricing since the existing tiers and prices for High Tide will have expired and no one would be subscribing for High Tide anymore at the old prices and tiers since High Tide will have been finished.

When that happens, the new prices, benefits, and tiers will be as such.

Tide Guard will be renamed to 'Dragonlord', the price will reduce from $15 a month to $10 a month and the benefits will double from three chapters in advance of the public release to six chapters in advance.

Velaryon Knight will be renamed to 'Dragonguard', the price will reduce from $10 a month to $7 a month and the benefits will double from two chapters in advance of the public release to four chapters in advance.

Driftmark Marine will be renamed to 'Legionary', the price will reduce from $5 a month to $4 a month and the benefits will double from one chapter in advance of the public release to two chapters in advance.

Spicetown Watch will be renamed to 'Auxiliary' and the price will remain at $2 and it will remain a tier for general support. I am considering offering one chapter in advance for Auxiliary tier but until further notice Auxiliary will remain general support.
