I would recommend that you visit a store and feel the latex for yourself. Maybe try on some gloves there to get used to the material and experiment which thickness you prefer. Some like it thin (0.25mm) to feel more. Other like it thick (1mm or more) to have it more restrictive. In between lies 0.4mm or 0.6mm which I personally like most. For starters you could buy mini briefs from Latexa (a manufacturer who produces relatively cheap standard clothings) to get used to the feeling without spending to much money. If you want better quality you could buy something from Fetisso. These manufacturer chlorinates the latex which makes it a little more fragile over time but you could slip into without lube or powder.
