Today, I placed the Auto-Rig around his body mesh and applied basic weight painting to the whole model. Most of my time went into working on the glove, where I adjusted vertex placement and bone joint positions to ensure good deformation without extra work. Good bone placement, combined with topology that supports it, can fix a lot of problems.
That’s pretty much it for today!
