Casted Twins – Making Of

1) Place the camera and do not move it. | Die Kamera platzieren und sie nicht bewegen.
2) In the same frame, make a video recording with twin number 1 on the right and twin number 2 on the left. | Im gleichen Bildausschnitt eine Videoaufnahme mit Zwilling Nummer 1 rechts und eine mit Zwilling Nummer 2 links machen.
3) Superimpose the video parts and create a split screen. | Die Videoteile übereinanderlegen und einen Split Screen erstellen.
Now I'm sure you're thinking (just like I did at the beginning) that it would be cool to create videos using this technique, too. You can't see it so clearly in the Making Of, but the lighting conditions change every few seconds. So unfortunately, the left and right side never match one hundred percent. I then corrected this image by image with Photoshop :)
Nun denkt ihr bestimmt (genau wie ich zu Beginn), dass es auch toll wäre, Videos mit dieser Technik zu erstellen. Man sieht es im Making Of leider nicht so deutlich, aber da die Lichtverhältnisse sich alle paar Sekunden ändern, passen die linke und rechte Seite niemals hundertprozentig zusammen. Das habe ich anschließend Bild für Bild mit Photoshop kaschiert :)
