The Coffee Disaster – A Halloween Curse?

Die Kaffee-Katastrophe – Ein Halloween-Fluch?

Every now and then I enjoy to share with you what went wrong on video shoots. But what happened on Monday really tops all previous mishaps!
An acquaintance had kindly let me use her apartment as a setting while she was at work. I brought everything I needed and started on time in the morning. It should be a small story with me alone (using a tripod). Cast application worked great. 

After this ONE (!!!) test shot (see cover photo) I went to the kitchen to make a plan for the first scene.

I leaned the crutches against the table.

They slipped away.

They fell over.

They pulled my coffee with them.

It was on the floor.

It was on the table.

On the chair.

And ON THE WALL.

I briefly considered whether I could somehow creatively process this disaster (picture number 2), but my mood hit rock bottom just like my coffee. 

So: sawed off cast, went home, fetched paint, painted wall, all f***** up.

I wonder if it was a Halloween curse. Who knows. However, it was one of the worst video shooting experiences ever ^^ And a terrible waste of cast :(

Ich teile ja hin und wieder gern mit euch, was bei Drehs so alles schief läuft. Was am Montag passiert ist, toppt aber wirklich alle bisherigen Missgeschicke!
Eine Bekannte hatte mir netterweise ihre Wohnung als Kulisse überlassen, während sie arbeiten war.
Ich habe alles was ich brauchte mitgebracht und pünktlich vormittags losgelegt. Es sollte eine kleine Story mit mir allein (mit Stativ) werden. Gips anlegen hat super geklappt.

Nach dieser EINEN (!!!) Testaufnahme (siehe Titelbild) begab ich mich in die Küche, um mir dort einen Plan für die erste Szene zu machen.

Ich lehnte die Krücken an den Tisch.

Sie rutschten weg.

Sie fielen um.

Sie rissen meinen Kaffee mit.

Er war auf dem Boden.

Er war auf dem Tisch.

Auf dem Stuhl.

Und AN DER WAND.

Ich habe kurz überlegt, ob ich diese Katastrophe irgendwie kreativ verarbeiten könnte (dabei entstand Bild Nummer 2), aber die Laune war im Keller und der Kaffee wie gesagt überall sonst.

Also: Gips abgesägt, nach Hause, Farbe geholt, Wand gestrichen, Schnauze voll.

Ob es wohl ein Halloween-Fluch war? Wer weiß. Auf jeden Fall war es eines der schlimmsten Videodreh-Erlebnisse ever ^^ Und eine furchtbare Gipsverschwendung :(
