Are they arriving at the oasis at first light after a long overnight trek, eager to quench their thirst and find shelter from the heat of the day, or are they setting out with the last light, ready to move on from this safe haven that sustained them, to face an uncertain future?
This month's (or technically last month's) wallpaper is entitled "Daughters of the Desert".
Of course, Light of my Life takes some inspiration from the story of the patriarch Lot, and this wallpaper sees our heroines wandering the desert in an echo of that event.
Since speculation about Macy's and Denise's background never ends, it also comes in two lettering options, which I hope will be taken in the spirit it was intended: to make sure this wallpaper is not interpreted in any ways as an answer to the question of their backgrounds, which is undefined by canon.
These wallpapers, besides being a nice diversion from the rigors of production, are also meant as a bit of a technical challenge, and in this case, I had quite a bit of fun with customizing assets to alter their appearance and to add decorations and adornments, and in the process, learned quite a bit about that.
As usual, HD and 4K (UHD) versions are available, in both lettering variants and without text.
