2024-10-12 04:45:07 +0000 UTCI know this was months ago, but just in case: "isekai" refers (generally) to stories in which the protagonist is sent to (or otherwise ends up in) a different world, with or without reincarnation. Though the definition is a little hazy, because a good chunk of people consider SAO to fit in since they do get trapped in a virtual world, even if it's just a video game and they haven't actually traveled across worlds. but yee
