Oh gosh, let me tell you, that first episode was one of the most contentious episodes in the whole series, if not THE most contentious one. Back when it had first released it wasn't received well, (which I mean...if you know anything abt American settler history, is very fair) and there is a reason we never see the buffalo again in the show lol. As for the second episode: the pony you spotted with the cool design is named Bonbon! She's a popular background pony, though she became popular through a particular counterpart that joins her in the background later on. They become a very iconic background duo lol. I won't say anything more about it until you start seeing them
