The "we are the crystal gems, we're still alive etc." scene felt huge imo and I can't wait to see where the series takes things! - zelz

2023-02-27 15:38:25 +0000 UTCIt's been awhile but I think the idea is that Rose was a friend & possibly a mother-like figure to Amethyst and that Amethyst and Greg found comfort in each other and grew closer as friends (at least for awhile) after losing Rose. Also, lol @ Zelz's "I thought my mic wasn't getting picked up" comment in the second episode. It didn't turn out to be that big a deal though; there were only a handful of times I saw you talking but couldn't hear or figure out based on the bits I could hear. I really like the "we are the crystal gems, we're still alive etc." scene in episode 44. It doesn't get much of a reaction from most people so I'm glad you guys seemed to appreciate it. The music, pearl's bold declaration, it just feels like such a big moment, even if you don't entirely understand the conflict at this point on a first-viewing. Looking forward to seeing you guys' reaction to the rest of the season!
