Greetings, travellers! The War Torn Realms theme draws to a close, and with it comes the final major drop of this month’s maps – and oh, what a set it is.
This trio is steeped in the smoke of burning thatch, the clash of steel, and the desperate cries of defenders holding the line…

I have also just put up the poll for next month's theme so Journeyman Surveyors and above make sure to VOTE!
A personal favourite of mine, Lerwick is inspired by the village of Greenest from Hoard of the Dragon Queen. When I first ran that module in my homebrew land of Thralia, this was the battlefield – though now it is drawn considerably less roughly!
Lerwick captures that iconic moment when chaos rains down on a humble village. It's perfect for surprise attacks, midnight raids, or that inevitable final stand.
At the heart of Lerwick, a small keep rises atop a grassy hill. This map evokes the last sanctuary of the villagers – a refuge, a command centre, or maybe even a trap. Use it to stage a desperate defence, a tense negotiation, or a climactic siege.
Note: I have already received multiple requests for the other buildings in Lerwick to be mapped out so watch this space :D
Also note the secret tunnel that leads from the castle to stream, perhaps for a last desperate escape, or a daring infiltration?
Heavily inspired by the legendary Battle of Alesia – where Caesar’s genius clashed with the fury of the Gauls – this map features double-layered earthen ramparts and a wooden palisade.
Whether it’s a besieged fortress, a fortified forward camp, or a puzzling strategic obstacle, Ramparts will force your players to think (or fight) their way through.
