Named for a wealthy magistrate who funded the construction of this magnificent building, the Faras Bathhouse is the jewel in the crown of the Old City. Upon entering you find yourself enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquillity and serenity. Sunlight filters through the ornate stained-glass windows, casting colourful patterns on the marble floors, while the melodic sound of gentle water cascades fills the air. Intricate mosaics adorn the walls, depicting mythical creatures and epic tales, adding a touch of magic to this already mesmerising edifice.

But, as is so often the case with things of great beauty, it conceals a sinister secret. Rumours of criminal elements dwelling beneath the heated floors, as nefarious gang leaders hide in plain sight with the great and good of Cloister.
