December Map Theme

Hi all!

With Christmas music starting to leak into our media once again it must be nearly December which means it is time for a new map theme!

Our themes this month (and handy blurbs) are care of one of our most active patrons: Nep0muk, via Discord.

1 City Encounters

Looting a warehouse to steal something. A back alley where the party get's ambushed by some cutthroats. A crowded market where the party has to try to shadow a courier without getting noticed. A fancy hidden marketplace for smugglers and buyers and receivers of stolen goods. A mansion to break into.

2 Dens and lairs

Spice up some classic random encounter monsters. An owlbear lair. A cavern infested by gnolls. A rock formation surrounded by woods where some harpies nest. An underdark cavern lair for a basilisk just to name a few examples.

3 Woods and the feywild

A fairy fountain in the woods. A watch post guarded by wood elves (flets connected by rope bridges). The twisted garden of a hag including her hut. The lair of an adult green dragon in a abandoned tower or castle.

4 Crypts and ruins

Care for some grave robbing? Explore the lost laboratory of a dead archmage. Fight the banshee in the cursed and abandoned village nobody goes near and learn about it's history.
