Krampus
Added 2021-12-05 21:15:32 +0000 UTCIn my country on the December 5th we would clean our boots and leaving them next to the window and in the morning we would get some smaller presents from Saint Nicholas.
But Saint Nick wasn't alone, he was travelling with Krampus, horned creature who scared kids who have misbehaved. Good kids got presents from Saint Nick, bad ones got leafless twigs.
Scary... well, not really, everyone would get both just in case :) also, if you google Yugoslavian Christmas and click on the images you'll see that Krampus was nothing compared to some Santa versions from the 80s :)
Krampus has 2 versions, the only difference is that one version has split horns.
