Invisible man

Hey everyone!

I've been planning to do a model of an Invisible man for a very long time but I've also wanted to create it hollow and without any support so people (and their printers) can be challenged.

In my head that was so much easier :)

After a lot of trials and errors I came up with this thing :)

I'm pretty happy with it but now comes the tricky part.

Can this be printed without support on an FDM printer?

Yes, I've printed 2 and both of them turned out to be a decent prints but I can't honestly say that they are great. Now I'm not someone who plays a lot with their printers and test stuff, I mostly print everything at the default settings to test them as an average user and I'm really curious what people will do with this model. Like I said at the beginning, I wanted to make this as a challenge for some printers.

Print and photo by Charro Zuck.

This model is hollow and it has a thicker bottom part for stability (I'm using mine as a pen holder) and because of that decision, those who will print it in resin need to pay attention to the drain holes. Making this model hollow for resin printing will make another hollow chamber at the bottom.

I like pain so I've also made a multi-material version of this model but it wasn't tested by anyone yet so keep an eye for potential mistakes :)

Will there be more models this month?

There's like 10 more days until Halloween, ofc I'll try to make more stuff :D
