Darko - the original Mini Dude

This whole quarantine thing kind of makes every day the same... I wake up at 6am, have coffee with my wife and then I move into my home office where I spend most of the day editing, capturing footage, modeling stuff, printing and streaming. No wonder that I've almost forgot that this Sunday people around the world are celebrate Easter.

Just like Christmas, for a lot of people this is not a religious thing but instead they have other images and things that represent that. For example Christmas time in my case is mostly connected to snow, presents, Santa, Christmas tree, Home alone, Christmas songs and ofc... Die Hard!

Same goes for the Easter but here stuff get's weirder...

Whenever I think about this holiday I have images of food... ham, eggs, painted eggs, spring time and presents but the first image I see is... Critters 2: The main course. I told you it's weird :)

I loved that movie as a kid and I think that was the first Easter connected movie I've seen.

The reason why I'm writing this is just to give you some idea behind this character. Yesterday I've started streaming on Twitch with Fred (The 3D printing diorama making machine) and Tracy (Buster McDougal).

For the first stream I wanted to model something simple and my options were Critter and some rabbit looking mini dude... Mini dude as something closely connected to my work has won this round. Still, even this one was inspired slightly by the poor guy in a bunny suit from Critters 2 :)

Support: Maaaybe... I've printed 2 without any and they have turned out pretty decent.

Multicolor: Sorry, not this time, this was a quick model without any mulimaterial plan in mind.

 This model is available to everyone and later today I will also upload it to My Mini Factory and PrusaPrinters.
