How I started one thing and ended up doing something different...

Hi people!

Few days ago I started practicing likeness. It's not something I enjoy doing, especially because after a while I don't see all the mistakes I'm doing so I have to take a break, then come back, notice all the mistakes and went to one of the older versions where I was still on the right track.

Confusing and long sentence.... but that's how it also feels when I try to do likeness. :)

I did a Bruce Willis face and I took a break from it to watch some new trailers. One of the trailers that just came out was for the Witcher and I was like: I should try to make Cavill, he has a specific face that I think I can make :D

Willis was put on hold and I started gathering references from the trailer...

I've spend 2 days trying to get the likeness and at one point he was getting closer but something was still missing, either was the distance between his eyes, or the length of the nose or maybe his head was too wide... I needed more references and then I've stumbled upon that weird scene from Justice League where they have removed Cavill's mustache... Oh, boy...

I have removed the long hair I've started sculpting and quickly created his Superman hair and I started having more fun with it... I've realized that I'm in no mood to create Geralt of Rivia but I loved the idea to make a Superman.

And now after 3 days I've reached the point where I'm more or less happy with this model. I will spend few more days test printing it, doing some tweaks and doing the base.
