Quick sketch v1
Added 2019-07-06 20:58:10 +0000 UTCI plan to make a lot of models and my list is already pretty huge and sometimes you just cannot decide what to do next... One of my patrons explained that like this: " Is like going on Netflix to watch a movie and you spend one hour browsing and then going to bed!"
I've ask people on my discord to shoot some ideas (Holy Moly and Holy Guacamole tiers have the discord invite doc inside their folders) and I got some really great ones like Optimus prime, Sandman characters, Mr Bean, Optimus Prime, Spaceballs characters, Optimus Prime, Starlord and again... Optimus Prime... So naturally I went with the one that was on my list and was suggested by two of my patrons - Optim.... nope, Groot!
Groot is an awesome character but I was avoiding him because in the 3d printing world there is just way too many similar versions of that character and I didn't want to make another one like that. I have started modeling it only because I want to explore that character from the comic book perspective, not the movie one.
Video above is just a rough sketch made in 20 min and knowing myself it will change drastically like you could have seen with my previous work (Zefrong the Orc for example).
Now it's time to think about some cool pose and start adding more stuff and just have fun :)
