What do you think about "Find the secret button" observational minigames?
Added 2023-05-14 12:32:26 +0000 UTCHey FreshMen,
There is another type of mini-game that is common in games.
You see an image from the game, and you have to search for a specific small detail in it that, when clicked, will unlock some reward. Maybe additional pictures of the girls.
What is opinion about them?

Yes, but it could be other things besides books. It could be anything that could be clickable.

2023-05-15 06:27:23 +0000 UTCYes, BUT...not sooo "tiny"...it should be a nice option, but not be distracting from the Main Game in terms of time needed to find or difficulty to find. As another patron said, make the button stand-out or contrast from the rest of scene.

2023-05-15 00:20:22 +0000 UTCIf it doesn't affect the main plot than it's alright. Those buttons aren't easy to find, and if the game depends on them then the game gameplay gets more difficult

2023-05-14 23:50:39 +0000 UTCin some games, these "buttons" (or images, icons, etc) contrast with the rest of the picture, by being something that does not belong in that setting, or is pale and thick borderlined.

2023-05-14 21:14:55 +0000 UTCYes, but only if we can be reminded in some way in the game, like in the first game with the pictures (when visiting the house). It would be frustrating to know we have "missed" something afterward, and then having to go back to old saves just to unlock, or having to install mods or things like that.
