Would you buy a game where the Main Character is Dylan?

We are selling very well on Steam, and I’m studying new opportunities for growth.
We have enough cash to fuel more visual novel that use a similar formula from FreshWomen.
One thing that Marvel and Disney (companies that inspire me) do are spin-offs: using the same universe, they tell another story that is complimentary to the main story.
One of my teammates suggested we do a Spin-off about Dylan. Maybe a story about before he met the MC (you) in FreshWomen. Dylan could have sex with new girls and have wild adventures. We’d hire a new team of 5-9 people and give them the same tools and recipes we use in FreshWomen, so the final product would have the same vibe.
Think like this:
FreshWomen is “Avengers”
Dylan’s spin-off is “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
This can be a challenge, but if other companies can pull it off, we can do too.
Does that idea sound exciting?

2022-09-14 14:03:17 +0000 UTCI actually think this isn't a bad idea, it's not really seen too often. And it could make for a compelling storytelling overall. After all the characters so far are interesting and growing at their own pace, so it would be good to see them develop further to give them more life to the grander picture of everything.
