The ULTIMATE SPAWN SYSTEM is here! Welcome to Version 1.1.0 of the TOTK Randomizer! Better get all your equipment ready. This update is all about randomized enemy spawns.
Spawn System "Waikuteru" (BRAND-NEW):
A brand-new spawn system that has been made from scratch to ensure optimal enemy variety, spawn rates, distances, etc.
Enemies can now spawn literally everywhere. Whether it's in Caves, Shrines, Villages or Temples, as well as locations such as the Demon King's Army.
Every enemy in an activated spawn group is now guaranteed to spawn around the player. There is full control (for the mod developer) over how close and far enemies spawn from the player.
There is no longer an enemy limit and therefore many more enemies can be added. Even animals or different objects like the Low Gravity Water Orbs could be added.
Since the new spawn system is standalone, the base game spawn system is intact again. From now on you will see more dynamically placed Birds, Deer, Foxes, Wolves, etc.
Of course, I took the chance and added many more enemies to existing groups (brand-new enemy groups coming soon):
Added Battle Talus and 3 Stone Pebblits (Normal, Fire, Ice) to the Stone Talus spawn group.
Added 3 Aerocudas (Bomb Flower, Time Zonai Bomb, Time Barrel Bomb) to the Aerocuda spawn group.
Added 3 Evermeans (Beehive, Apples, Depths) to the Evermean spawn group.
Added 3 Wizzrobes (Electric, Fire, Ice) to the Wizzrobe spawn group.
Added Stalizalfos to the Lizalfos spawn group.
Added Stalkoblin to the Bokoblin spawn group.
Added Stalmoblin to the Moblin spawn group.
Added Stalnox to the Hinox spawn group.
Note that the standalone "Stal Monsters" spawn group has been removed. As for the Demon Dragon fight:
Until the last Ganondorf has been defeated, all enemies can start and stop spawning as per usual.
Once the last Ganondorf has been defeated, all currently spawning enemies will stop spawning and no new ones will start spawning.
Then, all flying enemies start spawning everywhere in the Demon Dragon fight instead of just one out of four Gleeoks (< v1.1.0)
Lastly, this update also comes with 2 beautiful new environmental changes (thanks again to Miru for the help) and also 2 bugfixes:
Fixed a bug where the statistic for triggered special events was inaccurate.
Fixed a bug where Suicide Bomber Trees were exploding upon spawning due to collision.
Fixed a bug where randomly spawned Demon King Ganondorfs only had 100 health points.
By the way, the health points of randomly spawned Demon King Ganondorfs has been decreased from 5,000 to 3,000 to make fighting more attractive.
