TOTK RANDOMIZER UPDATE NOTES - v1.0.0 (Public Release)
New:
When fighting against Ganondorf, there will now be a randomized enemy and a specific environmental change as an extra challenge.
When fighting against against the Demon Dragon, there will now be a randomized enemy and specific environmental changes as an extra challenge.
Enemies can now randomly spawn in Shrines as well. Note that only Blessing Shrines are supported at this point in time.
Randomizer statistics can now be reviewed at any time from the Randomizer Staff main menu and will be automatically displayed upon defeating the Demon Dragon.
Additions:
Added 2 Special Events (1 Lucky, 1 Challenge).
Added some more top secret developer tips.
Added ending text after defeating the Demon Dragon.
Added additional information for a specific Special Event.
Overhauled and expanded the Credits section by adding Tool Creators, Patreon Member Messages, Special Thanks, etc. sections.
Changes:
Aerocudas spawned randomly now carry explosive Bomb Barrels.
Altered the welcome text on the first boot-up for the public release.
Slightly shortened the interval Special Events can possibly trigger.
Slightly decreased the chance to obtain Vows from chests and NPCs.
Slightly decreased the chance to obtain Key Items from the Randomizer Cycle.
Decreased the minimum and maximum time a Special Event can be active.
Decreased the maximum time a damaging environment can be active from 180 to 90 seconds.
Decreased the maximum amount of prohibitions active from 2 to 1 to allow for more freedom.
Increased the health points of Demon King Ganondorf (both phases) by 100%.
The Hylian Shield has been moved from the Weapons/Shields pool to the Key Items pool.
The Blood Moon at the Demon Dragon fight has been increased in size and is now visible from the start.
Zonai Device Dispensers can now drop all Zonai Devices and essential items for tactical reasons.
Improved the randomized spawn system by removing unnecessary and likely confusing code for the game.
Enemies can now spawn randomly on even more objects and areas in the game such as bridges, cliffs, etc.
Moved the "Change Cycle speed." option above the "Toggle Cycle Events." option in the "Configure options." menu.
There is no longer an increased chance to obtain items you have a goal for when already having enough for the goal.
Aerocudas, Evermeans, Flux Constructs, Frox, Gibdos, Hinoxes and Stone Taluses now spawn more frequently and closer around the player.
Changed "first time playing tips" to "top secret developer tips" to increase the likelihood of players reading the tips on their first boot-up.
The option to disable a certain Special Event that might induce motion sickness now immediately takes effect when the Special Event is currently active.
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug where you would lose items in your second inventory when doing a specific quest, going Game Over and exiting the game.
Optimizations:
General code optimization.
Removed unnecessary code.
Slightly optimized memory usage.
Optimized FPS by reducing the draw distance for Aerocudas, Evermeans, Flux Constructs, Frox, Gibdos, Hinoxes and Stone Taluses that can spawn randomly.
