Patron vote. Should the update be split into two parts, 1.9 or not?

A little more detail on the voting options.

Split it up! I have most of the draft ready. This time, I'm clearly going over the desired ~300 pages again, but not as much as last time, of course. This update can also be split into two parts. The first half already has a number of memorable scenes. But at the same time, I can't guarantee that it will completely satisfy you. After all, it's only half of what was planned...

If this option wins, the update will be renamed to 1.8.5 and the expected release date will be somewhere in late October - early November. The catch is that the second part may be delayed by a week or two (in addition to the time spent working on it). Simply because preparing an update for release also takes a certain amount of time. And here I need two of them for a given amount of content.

Completely! If this option wins, then the update will remain 1.9 as it was. The expected release date will be late November-December. And you will get the same amount of content as in the case of separation, but in the end a little faster, since I will not be distracted by preparing two small updates separately, focusing on working on it as a whole.

The voting period is one week. While I wait for your decision, I will pause writing the draft and focus on the technical aspects ( arts and the translation), since the draft is already more than halfway done and that is enough for 1.8.5. And if it'll be 1.9 as a whole, then I won't waste any time anyway, because the art and translation will still need to be done.

Well, vote, please ^^

UPD. The patron vote is over, so now let's open access to anyone who is interested in the results.

Alas, no. Not least because I do everything myself, and maintaining too many communication channels takes up a lot of time.

is there a discord group?

The perfectionist in me doesn't let me relax too much xD But there is a bright side to this. I don't think this game would have seen the light of day if it weren't for this demanding, self-critical quality that drives me from within.

Heya D.E.!-πŸ‘‹-! First of all, thanks for the vote; you've was fast as fuck! Ahem, I mean: I well thought that you would take my suggestion to organize a vote among the patrons into consideration, but I didn't expect you to propose us so quickly (πŸ‘+πŸ‘). And regarding the vote itself, I notice that a (large) majority of players want to wait until the 1.9 is completely finalized... Well, perhaps that's not such a bad thing? Because, I agree with you on the fact that more frequent updates would probably help you to attract more patrons towards your game, nonetheless, I can't help wondering myself if you won't lose another portion of those same patrons by proceeding in this manner. Deep down, I think that players of H games are no different from the rest of their more classic gamers congeners (in the sense that some are just as demanding), and that ultimately, even if they (some of them, not all, fortunately) no longer have any reason to complain about the delays between updates, that certainly won't stop them from grumbling even louder about the alleged lack of content of these said updates. [^-πŸ€”-^] Finally, on the sensitive subject of announcing deadlines: I'm evidently not in your shoes, but know that if you think you're always wrong, me, on the contrary, I find that you've done well so far, despite some few delays in the initial dates. C'mon the friend, don't worry too much about it!!! Cuz those of us who REALLY appreciate your game will be patient and understand by themselves that you're assuredly not an infallible machine (like these dammit AIs /censored-🀬-\) that's only good for serving them their doses of entertainment on fixed dates. All right, see you later, pal. :)

I can understand the desire to get a piece of the story a little earlier. Especially when the wait drags on for months on the other end. And it's even beneficial for me to release updates more often, but in smaller increments. More frequent updates = more attention on different sites = more patrons. The truth is that in the end, the waiting time for the release of a conditional piece of content will only increase this way. So, let there be a vote, since once again, the wait exceeds my initial estimates, which I probably shouldn't give anymore. I'm always wrong.

Personally, I can wait. So, it is best not to do the release preparation twice in a few months.
