Hints for non-lewd scenes from update 1.8

Watch out for spoilers! I recommend you play to the update's end first and then come back here to see if you missed anything.

Oh, there are so many layers to this episode that it's hard for me to even remember them all. Okay, I'll try to first quickly go over some of the less obvious points and then touch on the ending.

A quick glance through the episode.

• If Selene got drunk at the end of the last episode, she will start this episode with a severe hangover. Drinking too much is bad for you, boys and girls!

• If Selene went with Yuturna and they found the hot springs together (in the morning), there is a chance that in the subsequent dialogue with him, you will get a hint as to why he doesn't want to be too close to Selene. This hint is not guaranteed. Depending on how the dialogue develops, you may miss it.

• If Selene went to the hot springs (during the day) with Smiley, Tail, and Mermedon, then... There is a very wide range of possible outcomes. Really wide. Don't be afraid to say “no,” as it opens up alternatives in some places. Explore.

• If Selene stayed at the camp, it's a kind of shortcut through the first half of the episode.

• If Selene returned to camp from the hot springs before the end of the party, there would be some changes in camp. For example, Jum will be there.

A big striped kitten.

The episode's ending basically has four possible outcomes:

• No one came to Selene's aid. A Willpower check of 10 is required to avoid injury. Yes, this is the first moment in the game with such a difficult check.

• Greeny distracts the kitten. To do this, Greeny must be a little more “confident” than before. And Selene could have arranged this. If she was “very friendly” with him, at Mermedon's instigation. In this case, there will be an Agility check of 10 (or 8, if Selene is no longer wearing a long dress).

• Chat. The big guy will come to the rescue and stand between Selene and the kitten. But only if Selene was “friendly” with him both in the past and in this episode (if no fight between Chat and Yuturna happened). No checks. Selene is guaranteed not to get hurt. Chat will get hurt instead. A lot.

• Chat and Greeny. Essentially the same as the previous two points, but all at once. And without any checks.

Yes, the wound is permanent. Yes, there will be a scar. And yes, it will be seen and commented on by characters who will see Selene's bare back for the first time.

I think it's super cool. But if you don't agree, either be “friendly” with Chat to guarantee you don't get it, or pass the extreme checks in other options.
