Update: Return to Map Making with LMoP and New Subscription Model

Adventurers,

It's been a minute! After finishing the Red Hand of Doom, I enjoyed a much needed break. Life was getting a little too busy between starting a new job and finishing some house projects. All good things that are important to my family. I've since finished most of the house projects and am settled into my new job allowing me to find the time and get back to Canvas Quest.

It's clear to me now that creating maps for campaigns will be the star of this Patreon.

What's Next

I'm happy to return to map making and tackle the Lost Mines of Phandelver. The first map release will be by the end of the month.

Planning on LMoP being around 10 maps. After that, we dive into Hoard of the Dragon. I know at least a few folks have requested this.

Patreon Update

Patreon has been pushing to change creators from 'per creation' to 'subscription' for a while now. You can read more of the specifics here if interested.

Starting September 27th, we will be a subscription Patreon model.

If you are a current member then your subscription is charged on the first of each month. Should be Oct 1st.

If you are a new member then your subscription begins and is charged the day you sign up.

To accommodate this change from 'per creation' to 'subscription' I am adjusting the prices of our tiers to:

Map Seeker: $3/month

Map Mercenary: $8/month

Map Adventurer:  $10/month

I make you all the promise to release 2-4 maps/month. In the event that I can't I will pause the billing for the month. Doesn't feel right to me to receive without giving back.

On that note, I understand many folks just want the maps and don't necessarily want to stick around. I get it! Throw a small creator $10, move on, and enjoy the maps.

I am working to make my own ecommerce website to sell the maps directly. We are on Roll20 and Lost Atlas, but I want a more direct and convenient way to price maps appropriately on a per map or campaign basis.

Appreciation

Anyway, I appreciate any and all support. It's really seeing a few folks out there believe enough in a project to stick around that keeps the fire going. If only I could be so grossly incandescent.

My deepest thank you to my supportive patrons:

Jonathan Rizzi, Andrea M Chandler, Thomas V, nikkiro, Jason Sylvia, Tomas Crickmore, Andrew Slater, A, Milo, David, RelayTheory, Guidrion, Oliver Clarkson,  Travis Cudlin, Ultor, ZabolProductions, Christian Mejorada, Mike, Philly Josh, Vraska, Luke Thominet, 1HalfRanma, Soggy, Ryan Turner, BattleOoze, Jason Mayo, Cayleb Henderson, Distracted DM, chaz, Innocent G, Jordan Woodfin, David Jackson, Bigblack, Jeff Blankenbeckler, Nobody, Diego Rubertelli, and Jonathan Herring
