Hands-on Harley Quinn
Added 2021-09-22 17:01:02 +0000 UTCYou might have seen in my Cincy Expo sketch post that I did one particular sketch card of Harley Quinn getting a .... *ahem* helping hand from Poison Ivy. Well, I really liked the idea - plus I've been trying for a while now to think of a replacement for an old Harley/Ivy print I used to have but retired a while back - so I decided to re-draw it as a full on finished print, and I think it came out pretty awesome. For her face, I tried to go for a blend of the Margot Robbie movie version and the animated version from the oh so delightful Harley Quinn cartoon. I've also been playing around with a new technique (well, not really new, as I learned about it in high school art class, but I haven't used it again until now) to help make better use of reference images, and I think that really paid off here.
