First Set of Bombshell Beauties!
Added 2020-07-14 17:00:33 +0000 UTCAs I previously mentioned about a week ago, I'm participating in a sketch card series called "Bomber Beauties" themed around WWII-style pin-up nose cone art. Well the cards finally arrived and I've already drawn and inked 5 of the 15 cards I'll be doing. (Eventually they will be colored with Copic markers as well, but I think I'm going to focus on drawing them all first.)
Here's what I've got so far. I'm really happy with how they're coming along. At least as far as penciling and inking goes, these cards have been a dream to work with. They're extra thick, too, so they feel really substantial and satisfying to hold. I totally think I might email the guy organizing this thing and ask him where he had these made up, because going back to regular cardstock after this is going to be difficult! lol
