Darth Vader Sketch Card
Added 2020-06-21 17:01:01 +0000 UTCHappy Father's Day, everyone! I thought I'd celebrate by drawing everyone's favorite fascist space dad, Darth Vader! And you can watch me draw him in my latest Speed Sketch video on YouTube! I think this is an interesting one to watch. For one thing, I get to show off one of my favorite tools in Clip Studio Paint: the symmetry ruler! Second, Vader is a tricky character to draw, and, quite often when I try to draw him, I tend to feel like it doesn't quite come together until the very end. While reviewing the video before uploading it, I couldn't help but feel like he looks pretty wonky for about 90% of the runtime until something about it just clicks, and I ended up quite liking how this one turned out.
