May Poll Winners

This one ended up being a bit of a nail biter. We came this close to having a four way tie* for the Fan poll, but Madoka Magica finally pulled out ahead, and I'm honestly pretty psyched. I liked all of the options (at least, the one's I'm familiar with) and was excited to draw any one of them, but Madoka Magica is one of my all time favorite animes, and is actually the show I credit for turning me from 'a guy who'd seen some anime before' into a bonafide 'anime fan'. It's also like my Beatrix Kiddo drawing from last month in that it's something I've drawn before but wasn't completely satisfied with, so I'm really excited to see what I can do with it now. Anyway, I did have to roll dice to determine an official second place finisher, and Gatchaman will be returning on the Redemption poll in September.

As for the Secret Stash, that ultimately DID end up being a three-way tie, so it all came down to dice. In the end, the victory went to Zoltar, though as I've read up on the character, I think it would technically be more accurate to say the winner is Berg Katse? I've never seen Gatchaman or Battle of the Planets so I'm kinda figuring this out as I go along. (If you missed my long-winded speech in the comments before, everything I know about this property I learned from Choujin Sentai Jetman, so as far as I'm concerned, I'm drawing a sexy lady version of  Radiguet. lol) Bulma from Dragonball Z got second, so she technically has the spot in the next Redemption poll, but depending on how my schedule shakes out with everything going on this month (I may be back to work in as little as a week from now) she might be upgraded to a bonus drawing this month, so we'll see how that goes.

Anyway, big thanks to everyone that made suggestions and voted. I gotta tell ya, the polls are probably my favorite part of doing this whole Patreon thing, and I look forward to them all month, so it really means a lot to me when everyone gets involved. You guys are the best!

*This is the second time Zombieland Saga has been featured in one of my polls and got zero votes. You guys need to get on the Zombieland Saga hype train! It's so much fun!
