Uraraka
Added 2019-11-19 19:57:19 +0000 UTCLeading up to Grand Rapids Comic Con, I decided I wanted to do another marker sketch example piece. I'd also been seeing a LOT of My Hero Academia cosplay at most of the other shows I'd done this year, so it seemed like a good idea to do something from that. (Not that you had to twist my arm, of course. I love MHA and I've been wanting to draw more stuff from it.) And so, here's Uravity herself, Ochaco Uraka.
I'm fairly happy with how this one came out, particularly the line art. I might give this one the digital color treatment eventually. I'm mostly happy with the marker work, though it was done in a hotel room with not great light and a few markers running out of juice, so there are a few things that I think could have been better. Probably won't stay my main marker example fore very long. Still, I really like this character and her design, so I'm glad I got to do it.
