Rafael is done.

I finished all his scenes for the upcoming update!!! My god... I really like him 😆 He has such a different way of talking and reacting from the other characters that it's so much fun to write Romanus and him going back and forth. There's a dialogue choice that I want to revise because I don't think it's true to Rafael and Romanus, but other than that, I am so happy with how everything turned out!

It's crazy that the path I didn't write in the first draft with him turned out to be my favorite of the thief. I loved the other two, but this last one just... tickled me differently. I do hope people like all three, though ❤️ And find one that fits their Romanus — of course, you can always not engage with Rafael.

The update grew to 64k words; by my estimation, there's still about 25k left to go!

Next week, it's Lance's turn. I want to finish all his scenes and dive into the set of choices before Hadrian and Alessa's respective scenes.

I'm excited to write the bard! There was a point in draft one where he fought me a bit, the bastard, but I wrestled it out of him then, so I think it'll be smooth sailing!

Tomorrow and Monday, I'll dedicate myself to the last Bonus Content of April (I'm sorry for leaving it to the end of the month; it's just been very hard to pull myself away from the update — it's holding my creative energy hostage.)

But that's it!! Writing's going well, and the sun is starting to visit us a bit more frequently, which is always nice after the long months of rain and cloudy skies. I hope your weekend is going well! I'll talk to you all very soon 🌹
