Progress Report

No, it's Thursday, but I accomplished a goal today, so I want to report it. ๐
I've been writing the first draft of the rest of the chapter, which consists of two big scenes โ the robbery being the first, where you get to pick some important customization options for the coming ball, while the second is the wrapping of the chapter with all the current members of your little group.
Today, I finished the first scene! It was such a blast to write xD The characters and dialogues came easily; the descriptions and the choices all poured out of my pen. Of course, I'll have to refine it, but as a first draft, I really don't think it could have gone better.
I'll start the second tomorrow and probably write through the weekend. It's raining a lot, and I love writing with an overcast sky, its weeping thumping against my window.
The second scene won't necessarily be bigger to play, but it'll certainly be bigger to write. There'll be a lot of variation, as there always is when characters are involved, and you can choose who to spend time with, make amends, start a camaraderie, or call it quits.
I am... very excited to get to it. ๐
I haven't had much time to write lately, which is why this took a lot longer than I'm happy with, because my dad had surgery. Nothing worrying; it was a pretty simple procedure, but the recovery was lengthy. Naturally, I'd go over to help my parents, which cut back a lot of my free time.
But! He's almost fully recovered now, and next week, I have a lot of free days, so the goal is to be done with the first draft by next Thursday or Friday at the latest!
