Progress Report

Hello, everyone!

I just wanted to pop in for a quick progress report. Yesterday, I finished writing all the missing variables and left-over scenes in my to-do list for the next update, which means I finished the second part of Chapter 3! 😊

I spent the day today facing my greatest enemy: code.

But it wasn't that bad xD Mostly, I needed to revise some past scenes to fit the new direction of Chapter 4, add a few things to the Prologue, and retract a scene from Chapter 1. Nothing too drastic, but it needed to be done.

I also went over the emails and messages I got from readers about typos and a couple of bugs. One in particular I would have never found on my own! So, I want to thank Pikablooo, Loretti, and Avery for your help!! The game is all the better because of you; I cannot thank you enough for dedicating your time and energy to help me. ♡

So, when I update the link, the game should be better! Of course, I still need to do a deep edit of Chapter 3, so I'm sure there are a lot of errors left in there, but it's in better shape than before.

Just one aside: This bug you reported, Pikablooo: "When Alessa asks about the MC's exchange from Mist, the main options refer to gold. This may be intentional, but I had my character receive information rather than gold!" I can't replicate it 😩. I tested and reviewed the code, and everything was fine. Did you start with a new save? Did this happen to anyone else?

While reading the Prologue, I noticed that many passages are... not good 😭. It's just confusing writing in general. I won't dedicate myself to one more editing passage of the Prologue for now, but after Chapter 5, I will.

But that's for the future!

Tomorrow, I'll start coding the new update!!!! The problem is that it's a lot of pages 😅. I want to publish an update before the 31st — and I will — but that means I may not be able to code all I've written.

If that's the case, I'll publish as much as I can and then add the rest in January. ♡♡

That's all! I'll be coding like crazy until the 21st — my family arrives in Portugal on that day, and, naturally, my coding time will be greatly reduced until the New Year. So, I got a week and a half! 💪 Let's do 20 Word pages a day!!!!
