Yay, thank you!! The theories I’ve seen about the MV basically summarize the idea that pursuing a perfect life can destroy everything. There’s scenes showing how happy they are (reflecting awards they’ve gotten and accomplishments they’ve achieved), and everything seems perfect, but it can also feel empty too. The crystal they’re chasing is a spark that will brighten their lives (or their quest to find meaning). This spark can not only hurt them: (Hyunjin thinking the sun is the spark and falling while trying to grab it, and Jeongin thinking the spark is in the bucket of glass and hurting his hands while reaching for it) but it can also hurt others they take it from, which can destroy them in the process: (Minho taking the spark from Jisung, causing him to collapse, and then Minho crying as he looks at the spark he took).
