War crimes π But yeses, I'm glad to see more people willing to go the Vallen path. This next update will determine if you'll stay on it or not, but at least, someone will see the content xD And thank you! Corruption will be raised in more ways than killing in this book, although, of course, unnecessary bloodshed will always raise it as well

I'm kinda scared of how many friendships/bridges I'm gonna have to burn in order to woo her, but if that's what it takes π€‘. Edit: As a side note, I really like how corruption is gained because ofc it makes sense that you won't have to just be a murder machine to rack up points. There was something so much more insidious about giving Joan a matching scar rather than simply killing her. Really goes to show how scary corrupted Romanus can be.

Getting such a lengthy conversation with him made my whole night hehe all of your characters are so beautifully written and Alessa and Hadrian often feel like my friends, theyβre so alive, and eeee Iβm just so pumped

Just wanted to let you know about a few typos and an error - "tick napkin" (when Hadrian and Lance join MC and Alessa) - When Alessa asks about the MC's exchange from Mist, the main options refer to gold. This may be intentional(and if so I apologize!) but I had my character receive information rather than gold! - Typo when Juturna speaks to the MC for the first time (my MC didn't get the interaction in chapter 1), "A voice you never hear before" - I think you meant heard? :) Super excited to read the next update!!

Think of it like a starving dog, finally given a bit of food. When you let it go, Juturna spends her last strength in the mortal world to curse you, as petty as gods love to be π This was to show that she had her claws on you, even if you kept the coin in your satchel

And then that heart broke when my charismatic Hardian!mancer was flirting for information, not taking it seriously at all and laughing at the schmucks that fell for it, and Hadrian sadly mumbled that he would have fell for it, too. My sweet boy π

I loaded a save up to entering the tailor shop, met up with Mist and Lance (whom my Romanus is rude/antagonistic towards) and don't get the option to linger and trade as usual before Chapter 3 and Salina.

What really caught me off guard was the new Jurtana interaction at the end! That relationship is one I'm very excited to see deepen. I feel like I'm a warlock in D&D communing directly with my patron XD
