Yoooo!
I wanted to take this a bit more seriously moving forward, as a part of an efficiency strategy. I have mentioned this in the past, but did not fully implement it, but I will be now. I'll be completely deciding what I'll continue watching based on your engagement. There will be like goals per content calculated from the first episode or two (maybe even considering how many votes it received in a poll.)
This may be familiar to some as I did this with Lovely Runner. "If you want the next episode, let's get ___ likes." Each time I did that, people consistently showed up - liked the video and a lot of people commented their thoughts on the episodes or my opinions. It really helped me stay connected with you guys. As I always mention, I watch alone, then get my experience from reading you guys' comments after each upload. It keeps the hype up for me.
Content that shows interest drop off will be considered to be dropped.
Yep, Anthony who drops everything, considering to drop more things... 😒
For example: 7illin in the Dream is killing it with nearly 40 likes per episode, so I might set a like goal of 30 to keep it going.
Game of Thrones averages 20-25 likes now (used to hit 70, which may have dwindled due to length), so I'd say hey, let's get that 20 likes and we'll get the next ep up.
The likes/comments really help and they're also the only positive metric I can see atm so I would really appreciate that! I know you guys have lives and jobs, I'm not asking for you to always be there- but if it's a piece of content you'd watch or asked for that simple like goes a long way.
I gotta shout out ARMY/NCTizens/Zerose cause y'all be locked in across nearly all related content, and that REALLY helps me out with the energy, company, and making sure that I'm moving efficiently in the space.
Clarity on polls:
With most polls, I find it ends up being a popularity contest for favorite groups or actors, when it's supposed to be a "which one would you watch along with me" type of poll. I want you all to vote for the stuff you'll actually watch with me- not just a popularity vote. For instance, I shared a poll for which content to start from SKZ and NCT. Some people read that and thought oh, I'll just pick NCT over SKZ (or vice versa) instead of reading and seeing that both groups' content could win.
I was trolling on stream yesterday, but if things remain this dodgy, I may actually just lock back in on my core specific groups and just see what happens. I want to be able to discover new groups but it's gotta make sense!
Watchlist plans update coming soon on pinned post.
