Thanks for reacting to this! Glad you liked the album. Youngjae is heading to the military this year so probably won’t have another full group album until he’s back. Each of the members wrote one of the bsides! Smooth - was gonna be a Jackson solo but he gave it to the boys. Our Youth - written by Youngjae (his composer tag is ARS). Remember - I feel like Yugyeom always has those really sharp hi-hats. He has a new album coming out with AOMG. It’ll be interesting to see if how long he stays after like everyone left. Darling - Def is JB’s tag! All his solo stuff is more RnB-y. Tidal Wave - they were between this and Python for the title track so both Bambam composed tracks. I feel like Python was probably chosen for the cheoro possibilities. Out The Door - I feel like more kpop groups need to lean into “rock” sounds. Her - always gives me chills when I listen. Fun fact: Jinyoung is in a drama right now with the girl from Strong Woman Bongsoon (Park Boyoung).

My favorites are definitely Out the Door, Our Youth, and Her, but Darling and Tidal Wave can definitely alternate with my top three depending on my mood!! And Yours Truly, is such a beautiful fan song, it gets me in my feels when I listen to it!! I'm the same way with Ballads, I tend to really like them when I listen to the albums, but not really at all in my playlists unless I'm in the mood for them... But I think Got7 did extremely well with making their ballads palpable to the ear, making them easy listens even if you're not in the mood to listen to them. BTW, Def is JayB's Producer name!!
