Im sorry for the info dump but i cant help myself 🥹 for the ninja rankings it goes: 1. Ninja academy student: like konohamaru and crew 2. Genin: once u graduate from the academy u become a genin assigned under a jonin instructor and can take on rank D-B missions (B rarely and usually only very experienced genin). There is no age limit, a ninja can remain a genin their entire lives even. Usually only genins with potential take on chunin exams and even then only after they have done a substantial number of missions for experience, so normally they would miss the first few chunin exam opportunities till they are considered “ready”. So you’ll find a variety of ages and different levels of experience among the exam participants. What makes this situation rare in konoha is that all 9 genins (called “rookies” cuz they have only recently graduated and not completed that many missions to be “experienced enough”) were nominated to take the chunin exams. Note: neji, lee and tenten are genin of the leaf but they arent “rookies” meaning they didnt take the chunin exams immediately but waited a year or two till they felt ready. 3. Chunin: a squadron leader basically. They get to have their own team of 3 and be a leader. They take on rank C-A missions. Which is why the exam is made to be very tough since leaders of tough missions have a lot of responsibility to bear. Iruka is a chunin for example which is why he is qualified to teach the academy students. 4. Jonin: like kakashi, asuma, kurenai, etc. They get promoted from chunin based on merit and accomplishments. They take on rank B-S missions. They can be instructors for genins. They can join other special units like the anbu. 5. Anbu: special unit jonins that work totally undercover. They wear masks like the time haku pretended to be an anbu of the land of water, he wore a mask. They are under direct command of the kage. They take on very high risk missions that involve assassinations and infiltration of other countries, etc. 6. Kage: the top dog of a ninja village basically. Usually the strongest ninja of the village. They are in charge of leading the hidden ninja village of their respective shinobi country. So the way grandpa sarutobi (hokage) leads konoha (hidden leaf)

These are the largest, strongest and most influential countries in this world and are the only ones who have a “hidden ninja village” led by a “kage”- 1. Land of Fire: konohagakure (hidden leaf village) led by hokage. Where our MCs are from! 2. Land of Wind: sunagakure (hidden sand village) led by kazekage. Where Gaara n crew are from. 3. Land of Earth: tsuchigakure (hidden stone village) led by tsuchikage. 4. Land of Water: kirigakure (hidden mist village) led by mizukage. Where zabuza was from. 5. Land of Lightning: kumogakure (hidden cloud village) led by raikage. The lands are named after the dominant jutsu element in that nation. So for konoha in the land of fire, that element is fire. Note that sasuke’s clan (uchihas) were the strongest in konoha and they predominantly used various fire jutsu which is why sasuke already at a young age has learnt complex fire techniques. While fire is the dominant element, it is not the only element used in that nation of course as we see kakashi use water and lightning elements as well for example.

2025-06-02 16:42:19 +0000 UTCFirst of all I need to highlight how sweet it was of sasuke to not only pick up on the fact that sakura was acting a bit off and generally not feeling herself much, but to then actually try to boost her confidence. He noticed the genjutsu of proctors pretending to be bullies but instead of just taking the spotlight and calling it out himself, he prompted sakura, complimented her and tried to give her a moment to realize that she is also doing her best and has her own skills outside of what naruto and sasuke have going for them. It shows that while he is blunt and calls them out on their bullshit, he still cares about both naruto and sakura.. and viewers also forget that we skip time between arcs so their relationship as a team keeps growing behind the scenes 😬
