Gender Variants
Added 2023-11-02 10:14:30 +0000 UTCSomeone made a comment in one of my posts on Tumblr. It said that, in the mature scenarios, it was very distracting and immersion-breaking to read the parts when Romanus is male and female one after the other.
I'll admit, I never thought about that! Thank you to that poster for bringing it to my attention. My question is: do you all feel the same? I can post two versions of the scenario if people would prefer.
Edit: Alright! Thank you to all who voted. The posts will stay the same. 😊

Having to skip over it is the immersion breaking part

2023-11-03 14:30:33 +0000 UTCI don’t get it. If it’s immersion breaking, don’t read the other section with the other gender. Just skip over it. This seems like a them problem.

2023-11-02 23:38:26 +0000 UTCI like the format as it is personally, after I read the entry with my genders perspective I like to circle back and read the half for the other. I like that you add a marker before the different povs so I don’t get too caught off guard in the midst of reading

2023-11-02 15:00:48 +0000 UTCI think it’s super considerate of you to ask, Ana! Honestly, maybe because I’m used to it after being a patron for a while now, but I don’t mind :) I also like to read them both at the same time (although I do read the gender of my Romanus first) to see the differences and I do love that you take care in showing those differences.

2023-11-02 13:40:48 +0000 UTCI actually like having the variations together since I have a couple Romanus of different genders. It’s nice to be able to see, literally, the differences between their scenes without having to switch posts.

2023-11-02 11:16:56 +0000 UTCYes, that's why I didn't divide them. If it was a completely different text then I would have made two posts but I didn't think the small texts would warrant multiple. However, if it's something people find genuinely distracting it wouldn't be too much work to make diffent posts, but from the poll so far, it seems most prefer it as it is

2023-11-02 10:42:19 +0000 UTCI say keep it like it is. I mean wouldn't it essentially remain the same story, but with the small gender differences? Would those small differences warrent multiple post?
