Progress Report

We meet once again.

I'm sorry, first of all, for the delay in this report. I wanted to finish writing a particular set of choices before I set up camp and sat to speak with you all for a while, and alas, I didn't manage to finish them yesterday. But I did it today, so here I am! 😊

Truth be told, this week wasn't the most productive in terms of writing. I just didn't have as much time as I'd like. I got a piece of news on Wednesday that forced me to put pretty much everything on hold and be very proactive in trying to solve it. Life is like that sometimes. It knocks you down and leaves you gasping for air.

But regardless of that, I did have a very strong start to the week, and I'm writing on the weekend to make up for time away from the Rose on Thursday and Friday. That is to say: I finished all the branching I complained about in the last Progress Report, reached the middle of scene 3, and wrote 4 notebook pages after that.

The goal for this next week (and tomorrow 😋) is to write every day!!! I find so much peace when I do it, and I really need a brief escape from reality, so that's my goal: to shorten the distance to the end of the chapter as much as I can. The ideal goal would be to finish scene 3 altogether but, in the end, there are two big variations depending on whether you accepted the ball invitation or not, that I think it's a bit wishful thinking on my part — but hope is, as the elders like to say, the last thing that should ever die.

I also want to start answering your Q&A submissions — I'm thinking Wednesday will be perfect for it.
