He's abrasive but that humor and friendly back and forth with his buddy is fun. I think he's going to be a problem for their couple though, if he gets bored and starts to leave people hanging it's not cool for him to have stirred her life back up. +1 for the blind watchers outcheaa

2025-05-09 02:19:26 +0000 UTCI'm also going in blind. This show was on my timeline a lot when it was airing but I never got a handle on what it's supposed to be about. Pretty interesting first ep I agree the main character is a little abrasive but I don't dis like him. The tone is darker than I expected I thought this was more of a romancy show. Looks like even if it is going to be a lot of complicated emotions. Also, does the lead actor look like young Rain to anyone else? You were wondering about it so while it's not 100%. premature menopause would mean it's significantly harder for her to ever get pregnant. Maybe there's a small chance if they did a bunch of treatments and IVF and stuff. But I'm not sure how progressive her fiance's family was trying to be with all that kind of medical intervention.

2025-05-09 01:59:19 +0000 UTCHe is a complex character and their relationship has (especially early) strong toxic characteristics (later they work through some of that stuff). He is not exactly "likable" but I still could get into the drama and even empathize with him overall. I also had very strong connections with the other characters, especially Jae-Mi. All these characters are flawed and I loved that. Remember "The Sopranos" for example? Tony Soprano is also not a "good guy" and we still loved the show and got into his character. I don't need a likable character as lead as long as he is at least an interesting and complex character. That he is in Mr. Plankton. Was enough for me. And also: The show is beautiful (score, cinematography etc.)

2025-05-09 01:39:38 +0000 UTCYou seem to misunderstand her situation. "Early Menopause" is not "temporary". You can’t reverse menopause or make your ovaries function normally again. There might be some modern fertility treatments in medicine thx to which you still have some small chance to get pregnant (especially during the early transitional period), but usually it means you can't get pregnant anymore and that won't change later in life.

2025-05-09 01:33:05 +0000 UTCHey! I really liked this drama overall when I watched it. Both main characters had some toxic moments. But I liked the real life reaction, complex feeling of it. With premature menopause, infertility is pretty common, but not impossible. Can't wait to rewatch with you!

Good writing, a nice common real-life plot, I liked having more complex characters. But at the same time … I just couldn’t get into it or should i say connect, despite all that, mainly because of Do-Hwan’s character (CHARACTER, not him as an actor, I am a fan) i just did not like his character at all. plus, no connection with any character didn't help either. he was a true toxic definition of misery loves company, that's all I will say at the moment, will elaborate later lol. So very curious to see if u have any opinions of his character. And how do u know the dad hasn't tried to step in? u went str8 to trash-talking the poor dad with his help request 😂 we see how the bully system is and how they don't listen to the parents. now i know Minseok (the sidekick) from multiple stuff, but from all I remember u seeing reaction-wise i don't think he's been in any, so maybe you've just seen his face before 👀
