Lastly, a question for 127 as it keeps getting mentioned. I'm aware of the situation, I just wanted to ask if anyone would be weird or mad towards me if I watched the content and still acknowledged the presence of the member - as he's obviously not edited out. If this isn't possible then it will rule out some of the selected contents from 127, or I'll just start with Dream.
Thanks for all of the suggestions under the individual group based posts. I will be picking at random or polling those suggested options as we make our way through. Albums will be likely going through release order at random!

It’s hard to avoid almost 8 years of content with someone, it’s okay to mention him and refer to him. I like to think in those videos he wasn’t a douchebag

2025-04-10 14:09:42 +0000 UTCyeah i understand! if anything, since you DO want your audience to be involved, you can just try to watch an older piece of 127 content (like a one off) and see if people are more or less adverse to it. if it seems ok, then just keep rolling with it. or you can just roll with it regardless of opinions, it’s YOUR deep dive and to me logically it makes the most sense to do the whole deep dive like we can’t change the past.. esp bc YES that’s the thing, if you only do newer 127 content it will feel like you’re skimping out on them.. also for people like me who only really watched older content… i’m not even caught up like 💀 like sham said, it’s a fact, he was in the group, he was a main vocal for dang near 10 yrs, for you especially it would be hard to ignore him so idc if you talk about him bc he WAS there.. esp musically, you can hear it and see it in the studio recording sessions, the producers would highlight his vocals and praise him a lot, it’s a fact he was there sonically and physically.. he is apart of the history so. i won’t see you acknowledging him vocally etc as you standing by him though! like he’s just there so 🤷🏽♀️ (i had a better comment written out sorry if this one sucks ass, my ipad deleted it when i moved 😭 fml)

2025-04-10 14:07:34 +0000 UTCI've been having this convo a lot lately, especially in the kpop world where majority of stuff causing people to get kicked out or having to decide to leave on their own to protect their members be over rumors (except this man of course) i would have no issue watching older 127 content. i always say art vs artistry. we are here for the art (sing, dance, act, model, producer, etc.) not cuz we think these people are decent humans. I've never struggled/cared when it came to watching/listening to stuff with celebs after news about stuff they do in their personal life comes out. i still listen/watch stuff with no problem. He isn't going to make me feel like i can't listen/watch anything or have to pull an omg let me skip his part, or even act like i can't acknowledge him or his talents still. it's like yeah his truth came out but that also don't take away the truth that he is/was talented and was part of the group. You can't change that don't matter if u skip/ignore him. just don't let this one person take away ur enjoyment of their music and content when u get into it simply put lol. That goes for any group

2025-04-10 06:06:41 +0000 UTCyeah i gotta keep it real - i'm trying to get to know the groups and be involved in the content if i have to try to dodge saying names/acknowledging someone/laughing from what he says for people to be content then i'll just have to avoid that content in general. I just did a video with a buddy for Sticker and Kick It and it wasn't really possible to skim over him in music lol.. I just don't want people to feel like i end up skimping them out on nct by only being "able" to do select newer stuff

2025-04-10 04:45:50 +0000 UTCidk how to go about 127 content with taeil... i really don't know. i wouldn't be mad (maybe slightly uncomfortable at first, since i haven't watched any 127 with him since then), but i can understand why some people just wouldn't want it. there's going to be the occasional awkward moment where he's kinda focused on or whatever, but it is what it is. you can acknowledge him being there without... acknowledging him, if you get what i mean lmao? basically, i agree with jam! my vote goes to 7llin' tho lol

Like I just end up making the circumstances more about the other members instead; “aw ___ is so funny while competing against that other guy” 💀 it’s rough out here.. it sucks bc a lot of the content I actually tuned into was older so I can’t even vote on this post fr 😭 anyways TLDR I wouldn’t be mad if you watched and acknowledged his existence since he WAS there, interested in other people’s opinions though! It’s a tricky situation so do whatever feels best to you
