They were probably raised by septas/staff more than her I think Tyrion said that to Cersei after she had Ros falsely imprisoned for being Tyrion's "love". He really wanted to sell that it was Ros so they wouldn't suspect Shae. But I feel like Cersei has also said those words. I can't remember I had completely forgotten about that scene with Jaime honestly. What the actual FUCK. It feels so out of character, especially after that redemption arc. Don't know why that was included. I get you have to make characters multifaceted but everything Jaime did seemed like it was for a reason at least. Not a good one but he had his reasons. This is just gross Interesting theory about Stannis, we will wait and see I'm super impressed by all the stuff you're catching! You caught Podrick being a Payne and the condom thing lol, I've never even noticed that

The actors even claimed they didnt play the scene for it to be interpreted as assault so it is just a random unnecessary scene that was supposed to show jaime and cerseiβs βpassionβ and further highlight the βforbidden natureβ of it, but it obviously had very poor direction and writing since it does indeed end up looking like assault and nothing else in the showπ
