Okay, it's been a couple days. The chorus of sour and sweet bothers me much less now and the rest of the song is fantastic. Pretty excited for their next comeback.

I love Sweet and Sour, I'm pretty sure the chorus part popped up on my TikTok, and I automatically went to YouTube to listen to the full song!! Personally, I LOVE the WEEOOWEE, and how they delivered it, but I also understand that not everyone would gravitate towards that kind of sound! But I always say I miss weird and experimental K-pop, and they delivered!! It's been in my playlist since it came out, so I can't believe I didn't listen to any of their other stuff!!! I automatically put Dummy into my playlists. I remember when I first heard S&S, I thought that it could have easily been an NCT song, so the fact that they are under an SM subsidiary label shouldn't have surprised me as it did when you read it out.

It's more than likely the reason why they're doing boys planet 2 this year instead of girls Planet 2 which really should be next (and it's pretty wack of mnet but at the end of the day they're going to do what they think can make them more money). Jury's out on if it will be as iconic

2025-02-12 05:08:46 +0000 UTCSo Mystic Story is the same company as Billie and while I don't think they're overly similar I feel like the company leans towards these kind of quirky concepts. I've been meaning to check them out because I really liked Hyunbeen on boys planet (he did The killing part/intro in the Zoom performance if that jogs your memory) but it's just slipped my mind. I agree dummy is infectious but the debut song would really need to grow on me it's just the chorus though I think the rest of it works.

It actually reminded me a lot of something NTC Wish would do! I'm looking forward to their first comeback to see if I can actually get into the group :)

2025-02-12 04:44:49 +0000 UTCOhhhh I’m glad you got to this group, there leader is hyunbeen from boys planet im sure if you looked back you would remember him, he was in gunwooks group, now goes by hyunmin, these songs caught me off guard when they showed up in my feed but they are good and catchy, the realization that Billie was under mystic lol
