The worst ones always live!
anthony you’re so good at these character names omg i was so confused when the second barrage of men came thru.. then he took off his helmet once they busted into the room w the iron throne and i was like who is this pretty man ??? (mind u i’ve seen season 2 a few times lmao) and then you shouted loras’ name 😂 got me over here thinking i need to study up fr… also YES I LOVE how much was shown in this ep in terms of character development nd relationships! things i especially enjoyed: the hound’s one liners, Tyrion’s speech, pod’s existence LOL excited for s2 finale bc i can only imagine how much more i’ve forgotten… i mainly remember all the traumatizing parts of the show so 💀

This really just brings back the memories. I'm pretty sure at the time this was the most expensive episode of TV ever made and it was just such a cultural moments to go to work or school and talk about it. Those "water cooler" shows are few and far between now even though the quality of TV is very high recently everyone's just watching their own thing.
Such a brilliant episode though. Keeping the entire episode locked in on this one battle but it's so engaging that frankly I forgot to care about any of the other storylines that are going on there's enough going on here with the tension, the feeling of anxiety and the way who's winning the battle keeps switching all the way through.

It's crazy to think about how young she is and then you realize she JUST got her first period. Shit's rough

not GOT related, but you sound so much better! I hope you're feeling better as well 🖤🫶🏻
Back to GOT. This ep had me start looking at the Hound differently and actually start liking him. He's one of those hate to love characters I start leaning towards through this series. ALSO ONE TIME FOR SIR DAVOS 😭 Love his character!
Can't wait for to start season 3 you in for a ride 😮💨

also love her one liners this episode. So many iconic lines actually. The Hounds "Fuck the King", Cersei's "there are so many stairs" and Sansa "I'll pray for your safe return just as for the Kings'" and the whole "Of course you'll be in the front lines" !

btw even by GOT standards, Sansa is very much still a child. I think she's supposed to be around 14/15 right now? I mean, she just got her period. Later on still we'll see other characters refer to her as a child. Definitely just adds to how much she has endured already.

I honestly started somewhat liking the hound in this episode. I think the hound feels protective of Sansa because she reminds him of his little sister that died

I feel like Cersei 100% knows Maester is faking it and she's so done with his shit "careful down the stairs, there are so many" is probably my favorite line of this whole show
23:00 bro why are you hitting us?
Man I love everyone's relationship with Tyrion. From Cersei and their yearning to almost be actual siblings to each other to Sansa's subtle honesty about her wishing he dies along with Joffrey. Bronn, Pod, Varys, even Joffrey, every single conversation with him shows so many different relationships.
Notice how everyone, including the "hard" men look horrified by what they've just done with the wildfire. Everyone except Joffrey because he's a fucking idiot. He thinks war is so cool until the second it's in front of his face.
Sometimes practicing self care is telling the king to go fuck himself ✨🌸
Ilyn Payne be like •n•
It's so interesting seeing both sides because you can't really root for either. There's good people in both sides, bad people on both sides, this is what makes the show great in my opinion. There's nuance to most characters, even if they're assholes.
Also fun detail (it's actually not fun): Loras storms in wearing Renlys helmet with the antlers :')
