We are definitely in the part where everything just feels so convoluted. How is light coming up with these plans for the future and what is he going to do to get out of this scott free? You just gotta buckle in and see at this point. He must have planned to have a complete, confusing change in personality due to forgetting the existence of the death note by relinquishing ownership but how is he going to explain it??? L is gonna have a lot of work to do
