2024-12-09 06:46:32 +0000 UTCCame back to add based on your guys post show discussion but I think this episode does a great job of showing how OP the death note is. yes, light had to display some real maneuvering to trick her into giving up her real name and I'll give him credit for that but think about how crazy that is no matter how smart you are or no matter how strong you are physically all it takes is for that one very basic piece of information to slip out and you're cooked.

2024-12-06 15:41:05 +0000 UTCI think this show is great for showing that as smart as Light is there are multiple occasions where he only gets away with what he's doing by complete luck, but still believes that it's solely down to his own intelligence. It further displays his complete arrogance and belief that he's truly above everyone else when really the cirumstances just aligned in a way that he could go unnoticed
