ayeee is this the first time we’ve seen Margaery Tyrell?! i been wondering when she was gonna pop up! Lots of quick thinking this episode; Tyrion is so smart to have rooted out Pycelle like that, and Arya at the end w/ the helmet/Gendry thing 👏🏽

He's such an ass though it makes it hard for me to root for him. I wonder if that's a result of him being given up or if people constantly reminding him that he's not part of the family is a result of him being an ass

Won't say too much but the show was already messy and it's just going to get more messy. I didn't really touch on it in the previous episode but I feel like theon's sister just did that to humiliate him. I know it was waaaay too far to go for a joke but she didn't care apparently. Theon is so conflicting because you can see how torn he is between his two families. I thought it was so interesting to see him really write a letter to Robb. Like his first instinct was to stay loyal to who raised him but in the end it feels like he's so desperate to be accepted by his "real" family. Who do you pick when your family gave you away but they were forced to and your adoptive family raised you with love but you were technically their prisoner? You make a good point about why they were so quick to believe that that was Gendry based on the helmet alone but I would argue that since it's Joffrey who put out the order to kill all the bastards he doesn't really know the ins and outs of the whole "the seed is strong" black hair vs blond hair thing he probably just rounded up whatever information he had about Robert's bastards and sent his men out.

2024-11-14 18:27:56 +0000 UTCI think tyrion playing politics was my favorite thing from the moment I first read the books, and it remains true to this day :) I feel like tyrion is just automatically attracted to people who are different or less fortunate just cuz of his own circumstances. and as far as the many kings that have popped up, there really isnt a single good one that is worth supporting🤦🏽♀️
