My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 20

Y'all lmk what y'all thinking so far? I mean, I'm with Ururaka, Toga's def pushed past a limit for all those bodies she's got, but it makes me think of those products of people's circumstances like those who have been bullied so much that it changes them forever, I think it's similar to that? L Parents tho

omg I love how you caught the line "Jin's disappearing" as Jin being officially gone from her life and that it's also her grieving bc I don't see many people catch that specific line but it hits hard when you know Jin's blood was Toga's last attempt of kinda having him there with her in a way but, now that he "disappeared", he's officially gone and that makes me sad. :( I loved this episode in a similar way I did the previous one where both eps just had me emotionally crying and I love how MHA tackles on such topics that could be relatable in some way to real life that, even though these two eps had been centered on villains, the pain and tragic story they go through has themes that a lot of normal people can still find some relatability in. Toga's parents are definitely one of the worst.

Yessss! I think this episode hit me harder too Because I wasn't expecting such an emotional story after todoroki's. My heart hurts for both of them

I think they both hit hard in different ways, but I can understand why you'd think it hits a lil harder than Dabi. Neither Dabi or Toga could control the circumstances they were put into but, the difference is, Toga was born with this quirk and this is something she'd had to live with her whole life, but I cried an equal amount in both episodes ... although me crying in this episode definitely had me more surprised bc the Todoroki family's tragic story has always tugged at my heart, but seeing Toga's childhood portrayed this way, along with the VAs of Toga and Uraraka doing such an amazing job, and just thinking of how she wasn't able to live that innocent childhood all kids deserve to live, it's such a sad story.

unpopular opinion but i think this storyline hits a little harder than dabi’s. both are about their deep struggle with identity but like you said, toga was ostracized by Everyone. her quirk and the suppression of it made her come across twisted but that doesn’t mean she should have been robbed of having the simple joys in life. she yearned to connect with people and be seen so having the kid versions of toga and uraraka meeting just jerked my heartstrings. it was so innocent and the epitome of a good heart to heart talk after making up
