During their fight, seokryu says "why do I have to cover up for your life?" And the word she uses for "cover" is ν¬μ₯ which means packaging. It essentially carries a deeper meaning like "why does my life have to be used to make your life look prettier?" and it made the fight more hurtful. Y'all were wildin in the final commentary π€£ I can see why you said I'd enjoy it. I'm pretty caught up in this show so I can say that the writer did a good job of portraying a real childhood friends to lovers trope. All the awkwardness and newfound feelings for each other while still keeping that familiar dynamic and childish attitude felt believable

And, at least for me, calling the mom Aunty is just what you call your momβs friends so that parts fine. But yeah def awkward to get romantic with someone whoβs been that close your entire life. Their chemistry is great tho so whatever lmao

I said it last ep just like Bris said as well she's just mad she can't live through her anymore. it's understandable to want to know why ur child called off something big like a marriage but at the end of the day if she is not ready to tell them she doesn't need to and mom has to realize/respect that. to act like itβs a crime to call off a marriage when in some cases they might not be ready yet, donβt want to marry this person, etc. She just cares about her "image" a classic move which is sad how that matters so much in Korean society. like ur daughter is not getting married anymore that's not a big deal nor should that be enough to be ashamed of/and borderline disown ur child over and just act just childish the way shes been (ignoring her, not fixing her food,etc) but glad she had some sort of realization
