2024-09-21 21:47:46 +0000 UTCI came back to add I am also a little sad whenever I don't see the boys getting credited on the albums and it's only because they speak openly about the fact that they are working on writing and producing songs in their spare time, even Hanbin I'm sure would love to participate in creating their choreography. It's tough on one hand they are releasing music, doing live and variety appearances and preparing for a tour and end of your awards season at such a fast pace that it's probably good for them to have a team but I still don't necessarily think it's their choice to not participate in this kind of stuff. I think it has something to do with this weird multi-company contract they're on and who gets paid for what type of solo work.

2024-08-28 20:58:59 +0000 UTCGreat album for me. I know I talked shit about the last title track but I actually did end up feeling the pop quite a bit throughout this summer LOL. Still not their strongest but they brought it back with this project. Good so bad - most people love it I've heard a couple people say it's too generic and they should have gone KTR as the title track but I disagree I think this song has that magic to it that feels really good and it's one of the songs that best suits their voices so far. It reminds me of CIX Cinema which I think is a very good sound for them. Kill the Romeo - experimental but it works I definitely recommend you check out their performance of it from the Comeback showcase this is definitely a song that's meant to be vibed with in that festival feeling that you pointed out. Sea - you are the person who has had the most joyful reaction to this song that I've seen LMAO most people just don't get it. I also don't know why they picked this specific song (when I saw the remake news I gave a listen to the original and I NAWT sure how it was going to sound but they pulled it off). It's nothing spectacular for me but it's fine I'm not offended by it LOL. Insomnia - now this is zb1 for sure this is just their niche and their bag. (I'm thinking the specific song you were thinking of may have been take my hand?). Like 4 seconds into the song I decided that this was going to be my favorite song on the project and it was until... Road Movie - my jaw dropped TBH it's not that I've never heard a song like this it's just I never thought they would do something like this and it would be so good yes it's reminiscent of some other BG sounds but this is the kind of plagiarism I need in my life. Eternity - the song is very good for me although there's nothing in particular that I can say stands out from it except for their vocals of course. I will take this as a moment to say that Matthew was pretty much my star for this album he just knocked it out of the park every time. Yura Yura - yeah sorry it does not hit like the Japanese version it's pretty good but once you've gotten used to the original it just doesn't flow right. Highly recommend still checking out the MV I think it will replace the Korean version for you. I'm not mad at this version though because it means they will perform it on their tour and I do consider this to be one of their top five songs.

2024-08-28 20:47:46 +0000 UTCroad movie had me thinking me of eternally by txt on first listen too! also even hanbin said that the first time he heard it it reminded him of nct yura yura has a whole MV that is so fun and cute (but also kind of beautiful?) and deffo worth watching, idk if we're just used to the original but the japanese version just hits different and flows better imo, a lot of fans considered it their best title track when it was released

2024-08-28 20:20:40 +0000 UTCroad movie had me tweaking first listen i was like.. what is happening 😭 but the more i listen the more i love it! it feels like those mixed songs that sm does where there are two separate songs that they blend together, but could be individual songs on their own. So i understand why you said it gives off NCT vibes. i def rock with this album more than YHMAH but Melting Point is still my fave from them

I don’t think it beats the melting point album tho 🤧 my top 3 songs are kill the romeo, insomnia, and eternity! I’m sooo obsessed with kill the romeo concept and sound wise (maybe it’s bc crush is my fav title lmfao), im pretty sure it was a contender to be the title track bc it rlly sounds like one + has choreo so I hope they promote it as well and give it a mv also I prefer the Japanese version of yura yura over the Korean version, it just hits different
